OK, here's my Dad's (Roy Mohr) Coupe, and it's the latest out of the shop...

Dad wanted to do something to the Coupe that added some color and visual interest on the sides. We kicked around using scallops, but flames seemed to fit the bill, (imagaine that!)

Saturn White was layed down, with Blue Ghost Pearl over it, and re-cleared. It was all 'striped with "One-Shot" Aqua.  The finishing touch was the traditional 'striping on the grill shell and the decklid done in Aqua and Polar White. Finally, the "Energizer Bunny" makes sure that everyone knows that, "IT AIN'T PINK, IT'S MAGENTA!"

The flames do a great job of adding the traditional "Hot Rod" look to the car. By making them of the tribal variety, it keeps it edgy and adds attitude. Visually, they stretch the car, and enhance the Deuce's rake.

 Happy Father's Day Dad!

I have also just finished Denny Johnson's Surfboard for the Tiki Wagon. A two foot high Tiki head, all airbrushed with oldskool 'striping around it.

Tiki head was completed with using only two colors of One Shot! First, Imitation Gold was sprayed down, and then working with an overreduced Medium Brown, I began building depth by creating shadows, dark areas and graining in the "wood".

Once completed, I finished it all off with some "Oldskool" striping in Chrome Yellow.
